In this series I wanted to explore typography, both as a way of creating a surface quality and as a means of exploring narrative, association and the cultural currency of certain words. This medium plate is 19cm in diameter, black clay, finished with a shiny glaze to accents the text element. It is signed on the back with letter stamps.
