Sessions Run at The Making Rooms Blackburn
I am running several ceramics sessions at the Making Rooms in Blackburn. They range in simplicity and price and cater for all age ranges and abilities. The Making Rooms is a fantastic facility located in Blackburn Lancashire and offers lots more than just pottery sessions, much of it for free. Upcoming Workshop: Textured Fridge Magnets and Small Wall Hangings.
This session will be run over two Sunday: 18/10/26 and 25/10/26. At the moment they are full booked, but you can add your name to a waiting list in case someone cancelled and a place becomes available.

Upcoming Workshop: Beginners Clay Club
These sessions will run on Tuesday evenings from 6.00 - 8.30 pm. The cost includes all clay, underglaze, slips, glazes and firing. You also get a brew and a piece of cake thrown in for good measure. We will have a go at:
Week 1, 27 Oct: Pinch pots: functional and decorative.
Week 2, 3 Nov: Texture and Decorations: dishes and tiles exploring: mono print, texture, stencils, underglaze.
Week 3, 10 Nov: Coil building: organic vessel or jug
Week 4, 17 Nov: Slab building like a mugs, a toast rack, lidded box. The chance to work with templates.
Weeks 5 and 6, 24 Nov and 1 Dec: Your own project, built over two weeks. This will give you the chance to apply your new skills and be a bit more ambitious. You could make a teapot, a fancy mirror frame, a sculptural form, matching tableware, plant pots, Christmas decorations etc, etc, etc.
Age range: 12+
Date and Times: 27/10/26-1/12/26 at 6.00 - 8.30pm
Cost: £37.00 per session (or you can book all 6 sessions for £200 and save £22)
