In this series I wanted to explore typography, both as a way of creating a surface quality and as a means of exploring narrative, association and the cultural currency of certain words. This small plate is 14cm in diameter and finished with a rich mat glaze over dark grey underglaze that picks up the details of the design. It is signed on the back with letter stamps.
